Belper B&B who loves Tea!

Our Love of Tea

David and I love tea, so much so you will notice if you come to stay that we have many “tea” elements throughout our bed and breakfast.

Tea is a firm favourite with us and it has featured prominently at key moments in our lives together – from David proposing in Betty’s Tea Rooms in York to our afternoon tea-themed wedding reception at the farm in 2003.

Nowadays, tea remains a part of our family routine and ritual and our daughter has grown up with it. Each Sunday we always try and enjoy a full afternoon tea together, which includes sandwiches and cakes!

Belper B&B and Tea!

Although you will find old milk churns and milk bottles being used as décor to commemorate the building’s dairy farm roots, it is tea which now forms the most striking theme and feature of today’s Chevin Green Farm.

Quirky and whimsical bone-china teapot shaped lights and table lamps can be found and you can enjoy beautiful and stylish Burleigh pottery throughout the property.
